Chapter 13

Ilaina was enjoying her time with Myla, but the balls that were still deep inside her were vibrating right along with the mechanical music of the jet and she was getting dangerously close to exploding. She’d watched Noah and Drake as they sat chatting and decided if something didn’t change in the next few minutes she was going to excuse herself to the restroom and remove not only the Ben Wa torture devices, but some of her stress as well.

She tried to once again focus her attention on Myla when she realized both Drake and Noah were standing in front of them. “Myla, my name is Drake and I’m a friend of Noah’s. Would you like to meet the pilot? And then I think there are some very special treats on board for you. What do you say we see if we can’t track those down?” Drake leaned down and unsnapped her seat belt and the little beauty scrambled out of her seat and quickly took his hand. Lainy’s heart nearly melted when Myla turned at the last minute and looked at Noah as if asking for his approval.

“Have fun, sweetheart. But don’t you give away your heart to this big guy here, okay. And we’re still on for our adventure report later, right?” Lainy saw the relief flash in the young girl’s eyes as she realized Noah wasn’t passing her off to someone else, merely letting her have a few minutes to do something new.

After they’d walked away, Lainy leaned over and kissed Noah sweetly. When he looked at her in confusion she whispered, “That was for being her knight in shining armor. She adores you, you know?”

“I hope it’s contagious.” Noah had pulled her hand into his and raised it to his lips and placed a kiss in her palm. When he pulled her to her feet and said, “Come. I want to spend some time alone with you, cara,” she had almost come from his words alone. Then he’d led her to an elaborate bedroom and when she heard the click of the door lock she launched herself into his arms. She had been holding back her hunger for his touch but it was a losing battle. Feeling the strength and warmth of his arms as they wrapped around her, she let out a sigh of contentment.
